Kankakee Community College provides free continuing education classes

KANKAKEE (Heartland Newsfeed) -- Ten online classes will available this summer, according to an announcement by Kankakee Community College.
The college's Office of Continuing Education and Career Services is providing these courses at no cost to students. As a result, they will not be for college credit.
Available courses surround business management, job searching, communications, customer service, Internet marketing, personal finance, and small business marketing among others.
This would be a perfect opportunity for those seeking to build a website from scratch, secure a job on the first attempt, or overcome your fear of public speaking.
Course registration can be completed by going to their website. You can also register via phone by calling (815) 802-8207 and leave a voicemail message. There should be return communications as soon as the next business day.
One day after registration, participants will receive account access to complete their courses. Therefore, completion of coursework will be at your pace.
Course requirements
A reliable high-speed Internet connection is a requirement for online students. Additional requirements include a basic level of computer literacy, including word processing and Internet navigation.
