Libertarian emerges in Wisconsin House race against Democratic incumbent Spreitzer
BELOIT, Wisc. (Heartland Newsfeed) -- A Beloit man will be running for the Wisconsin House of Representatives against a Democratic Party incumbent in next year's general election.

According to a story from the Beloit Daily News, the emerging candidate is Reese Wood, who will be running as a Libertarian.

Wood officially kicks off his campaign during a scheduled event Sunday, Dec. 17 at 4 p.m. at Bushel and Peck's Market in Beloit, with an expected appearance by Phil Anderson and Patrick Baird, the Libertarian ticket for governor and lieutenant governor.

Democratic incumbent Mark Spreitzer of Beloit currently holds the seat in Wisconsin House District 45.

Wood is a former president of Janesville Community Radio and has produced the Beloit Podcast independently since 2015.
