BWF 2022 Men's Singles Badminton Rankings Top 20 List And Points

India’s young prodigy, Lakshya Sen has reached a career-high ranking with 13th in the latest badminton BWF 2022 men's singles world rankings
He attained this new ranking after he won the men's singles crown in the India Open. Sen made a jump of four places as he climbed from 17th to 13th position coming close to the dominating world champ Loh Kean Yew . Kidambi Srikanth remained at the same 10th spot.

The dominating Olympic champion from Denmark, Victor Axelsen tops the men's singles with 116779 points. While Japan’s Momota Kento is second on the table. India’s B Sai Praneeth also remained at the same 18th position. Thailand’s Vitidsarn Kunlavut maintains the 20th spot.
1) Axelsen Viktor - The Danish badminton player is the 2017 World champion and the 2020 Olympic champion. He also won the 2010 World Junior Championships by beating Kang Ji-Wook of South Korea in the final to become the first-ever European player to win the title. Axelsen also won the European men's singles championship in 2016 and 2018 as well.
2) Momota Kento – The Japanese have won several major badminton tournaments which include two World Championships titles, two Asian Championships titles, and one All England title. He has entered into Guinness Book of World Records for "The most badminton men's singles titles in a season", for his achievements by winning 11 titles in one single season, the 2019 season.
3) Antonsen Anders - The Danish badminton player won the gold medal during the 2015 European Junior Championships in the boys singles event, following that he was awarded the European Young Player of the Year. Along with the national team, he won the European Men's Team Championships in 2016 and 2018; he also won the European Mixed Team Championships in 2017, 2019, and 2021.
Antonsen was crowned the champion at the 2019 Minsk European Games, 2021 European Championships, and the silver medallists at the 2017 European Championships, and the 2019 World Championships.
4) Chou Tien Chen – Chou Tien Chen from Taiwan became the first local shuttler in 17 years to win the men's singles title of the Chinese Taipei Open in 2016. He also holds the record winning three consecutive Bitburger Open Grand Prix Gold titles from 2012 till 2014.
5) Ginting Anthony Sinisuka - The Indonesian badminton player, came to the limelight when he won the bronze medal during the 2018 Asian Games. He also won bronze in the 2020 Olympics in the men's singles event. He is the first Youth Olympic badminton medalist to win a medal at the Olympics
6) Chen Long – Chen Long, a former World champion, occupied the top men's singles ranking for 76 consecutive weeks from December 2014 to June 2016. He is now 6th in the recent BWF rank 2022. He is the 2016 Olympic champion, two-time World champion, and an Asian champion.
7) Lee Zii Jia – The 7th rank holder was the men's singles gold medal list at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games and, has also won the 2021 All England Open Badminton Championship
8) Christie Jonatan - He came to the limelight after winning the men's singles title at the 2017 Southeast Asian Games and at the 2018 Asian Games. He was also a part of Indonesia’s winning team at the 2020 Thomas Cup.
9) Ng Ka Long Angus – The 9th rank holder according to the BWF Ranking 2022 has the highest career ranking of 6 in men's singles and has beaten other top 10 players such as Lin Dan, Lee Chong Wei, Chen Long, Chou Tien-Chen, Jan Ø. Jørgensen and Son Wan-ho.
10) Srikanth Kidambi – Trained under Gopichand Badminton Academy, he secured rank as world number 1 at the BWF ranking in April 2018. He also became the first-ever Indian player to reach the World Championships final in the men's singles and ended up winning a silver medal.
