A video of Lamar Odom talking about Taraji P Henson has gone viral with him claiming he decided to leave her after meeting Khloe Kardashian 
Although they were married for seven years before ultimately splitting with Khloe Kardashian going onto rebound with Tristan Thompson, there was a time when Lamar Odom and Taraji P Henson were going strong.
Lamar has now opened up on his relationship with Taraji and why things didn't eventually work out between the two. Although he was quick to claim he was besotted by her, a woman who he claims taught him plenty in life, he said he decided to leave her after falling in love with Khloe Kardashian.

Appearing on TV One's Uncensored, Lamar talked about his career to his battle with addiction and his romance with Taraji.

"Things ended with me and Taraji because be being an immature punk, I didn't know how to tell her I was falling in love with another woman named Khloe Kardashian.
"I just wish I could have respected women a lot more. Maybe I should have respected them a lot more from not having a mother. For some reason — I don't know — I just over did it.
"I met Taraji at a HBO party. I met her, we hit it off right away and I remember I really, really, really started liking her and I just wish I would have done things different with her.
"She was a little older than me but I learned a lot from her because that was the most significant relationship, as a grown up, that I had with a Black woman," he said.
Lamar meanwhile decided to shoot his shot at Khloe after Tristan Thompson revealed he was the father of Maralee Nichols' child with the ex-NBA player saying he wished he could reconnect with Khloe in the time to come.
