Ireland vs South Africa ODI Series

Ireland has some promising players as shown by their effective performance against South Africa in the recently concluded ODI series. Ireland gave a neck-neck competition to the Proteas in the three lined-up ODI series.
The series ended with a tie of 1-1, previously in the second game Ireland was leading with a victory. But in the recent final ODI, Ireland just fell short of creating a historic victory.
Furthermore, in the final ODI, a sensational knock from Simi Singh down the order of 100 unbeaten almost kept Ireland cruising. After a monstrous batting in the first innings by Quinton de Kock whipped a blazing 120, with his teammate Janneman Malan who smashed a glorifying 177 aided South Africa to register 346-4. Ireland, limping in the chase, still went on the distance but failed to achieve surpassing the winning lines with 276 all-out.
All said and done, Ireland will be taking on the Proteas in a three-match T20I series starting from July 19, following on with 22, 24. Both the teams will enter the arena to regain their honor and pride.
