British GP 2021 Battle for the pole position
RedBull driver Max Verstappen has started from pole position 4 times this season therefore is in a good form this season to start from pole position this weekend. After the inclusion of the Sprint race format in this race, we will have a pretty interesting qualifying on Saturday.
Lewis Hamilton has won 6 races at Silverstone previously in his 7-time championship-winning campaign. But the outstanding form of Max Verstappen will surely be a pain in the nose of Lewis Hamilton who will look to bounce back in the Driver's Championship.
He needs to start strong in this Sprint qualifying on Saturday which will provide him with some crucial forward momentum that he needs until the remainder of the season. If he can win at Silverstone it will definitely boost his confidence which will certainly increase his chances of a come-back.
Mercedes are currently behind RedBull in the constructor's championship by 44 points and Max Verstappen leads Lewis Hamilton by 32 points. Mercedes need to generate a winning mentality that has enabled them to dominate the constructor's league in the previous seasons.
Ferrari had some glorious moments in the past at Silverstone with one driver securing a podium finish in the previous races. They have a point to prove as they are pushed back by the RedBull who are currently in the first position.
