WIZO berlin magazin, September 2019 - The WIZO berlin magazine is published once a year on Rosh haShana, the jewish new year. A team of five passionate and professional volunteers work on this publication together. The revenue collected through ads of businesses and private people are transferred directly to the social projects of the Womens International Zionist Organisation (WIZO) in Israel: women shelters, youth centers and nursery schools.

"Make a difference: women change the world" is the title of our new edition of 136 pages. We report about outstanding women who had the courage to think and act out of the box like the Israeli politician Golda Meir, the philosopher Agnes Heller, the sexual therapist Ruth Westheimer or the fashion designer Diane von Fürstenberg. Their stories can inspire us to leave our comfort zones and contribute to tikkun olam in our very unique way.
