The Nutcracker ballet has been enchanting audiences for generations. Even those unfamiliar with the ballet itself recognize the music by the iconic Russian composer Pyotr Illyich Tchaikovsky.

The Lawton Ballet Theatre, 3510 SW J, has brought this timeless classic to life for many years, and this Christmas season will be no different. Four performances are planned between Friday and Dec. 17 in McMahon Memorial Auditorium, 801 NW Ferris.
