Modern Sky Festival Helsinki 2016 brings the most topical international acts in indiepop, electro and alternative rock to Helsinki, Finland 26–27 August.

The festival is set at Ääniwalli venue, expanding to the adjoining indoor skatepark, known for hosting some of the hottest clubs in town, in the midst of office buildings near the trendy Kallio neighbourhood. Exceptional side programme and a variety of good food and drinks will be published in the coming weeks.

Modern Sky Festival Helsinki 2016 introduces fresh international artists with a special focus on Asia’s rising music scene.

Outside on a terrace at the Yard stage you can party to the music until 3AM played by various DJs from India, Ireland & Finland!

There’s delicious food served at the festival area by a foodtruck and -bike.

Modern Sky Festival Helsinki 2016, Border Movement & Detour Asia present: SLAP residency @ The Dusun, Malaysia.

A new music residency in the jungles of Malaysia!! Opportunity to stay for 5 days accommodation covered at The Dusun resort near Kuala Lumpur and work with local talent – some of the best producers and session musicians from Southeast Asia. The residency will also offer the opportunity to tour the region. Open call will be launched at the festival together with a screening of the documentary from this years SoundLab featuring 15 artists from 11 different nations.. Australia, NZ and Southeast Asia.
