Attention all Echelon "weirdos"! Join us on the 19 and 20 of August 2016 when south Germanys biggest rave turns 8! Following the motto #let’s be weird we are moving to the next level! We are going to shake the ground you are standing on with the best electronic music – vibrating to the core of your body!

Be there and get your tickets for the warm-up party @ Echelon Friday! This year, so we can embrace the weird in us, we are gonna get weird in an over dimensional Circus tent! This will be an experience which you do not want to miss! Get your “Full Weekend Ticket” for the weirdest Echelon experience! In this package you will be able to visit the Echelon Friday and camp until Sunday! For the first time, there will be NO ONE-WAY for campers! They will be allowed to fly “free like a bird” back and forth between the festival and the campsite!

On Saturday we will start, as usual, at 11 am and will give you 16 hours of power with over 50 national and international top-acts. From Grammy candidates to underground legends – we have them all on 5 amazing stages! These 5 stages will be: our beloved Main stage, the Weird stage with a gigantic “Magic Sky” and of course amazingly high techno potential, the Berlin Katermukke Stage – hosted by our favorite Artists from the Capital, the Electronic Motion Indoor Floor with Austrian Techno Love and last, but not least, the brand new “Circus Floor”

Echelon Open Air Festival 2016 is an electronic music festival in Bad Aibling, Germany. Celebrating its 8th birthday this summer, the festival invites fans to 'be weird together' in the company of house and techno greats. The festival's location adds to its unique charm, taking place on the grounds a now (mostly) disused US army listening post, where metallic radar domes juxtapose the surrounding beauty of the Bavarian hills and meadows.

Above all, the festival boasts an incredibly impressive lineup. International stars such as Adam Beyer and Maceo Plex join a wealth of German talent; from the deep house of Robin Schulz and Claptone to the darker techno stylings of Ben Klock and Len Faki, and everything in between.
