The 15th Musilac festival will take place from 8 to 10 July 2016 on the esplanade of the Lake Bourget, near Aix-les-Bains. This summer music festival draws massive crowds every year with an attendance of 110,000 in 2015. Every year during the summer months many international and local artists entertain the crowds at the three day festival.
Spread out over several days, Musilac has diverse themed areas including rock, electro, pop and reggae en route to being one of the most eclectic music festivals in the country. The festival started small but kicked into high gear in 2009 with the advent of highly coveted personalities in the world of music.
Musilac Festival 2016 has an official camping site that hosts over 4,500 campers.
It is open only to holders of a 3-day pass + Camping and is located by the lake, a few hundred meters from the entrance of the festival site.
Proposed by the association of traders of Aix-les-Bains, the Before Musilac is a big FREE EVENT before the festival. Located in the heart of downtown Aix-les-Bains, it offers a series of free concerts mixing headliners and regional groups. Free activities are also offered throughout the day in order to animate the streets of the city center and guide the public to the evening concerts that take place at Théâtre de Verdure.
