EDP Beach Party 2016 is the festival child of Rádio Nova Era, Portugal's popular radio station. Setting up on the lush sands of Praia de Leça da Palmeira, EDP Beach Party is all about the best big room and EDM DJs, and will this year welcome Afrojack, Nicky Romero and W&W onto its beachside stage.
Regarded by some as "the best beach party in Europe", EDP Beach Party's previous nine editions have seen the likes of Avicii, David Guetta and Tiësto perform under the stars on various beaches across Portugal.
The 9th edition of the greatest electronic event will happen on the first weekend on July, 1st and 2nd, at Matosinhos, 15 minutes away from Porto. This was the first event of its kind to take place in Portugal. With the feet on the sand, and the stars above, the best djs in the world perform at a stage that has received, for instance Swedish House Mafia, Avicii, David Guetta, Tiesto, Alesso, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, amongst so many others. Our fans call us "best beach party in Europe" and probably that's the truth. 2016 edition will be even better!
