After Donald Trump made his change of residency announcement on Thursday, New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo gave the state’s most prominent resident a parting shot saying:

“Good riddance, It’s not like Donald Trump paid taxes here anyway. He’s all yours, Florida.”

Last month, the New York Times reported that Donald Trump will leave NYC for the historic Mar-a-Lago estate located in Palm Beach, Florida that he has owned since 1985.
Trump filed a “declaration of domicile” with the Palm Beach County Circuit Court, according to a New York Times report that broke the story of Trump’s residence change. With that court filing, Trump declared his new legal state of residence to be Florida.
The report also said that Trump’s wife, Melania, joined her husband in switching her permanent legal residence to Florida. 
Both Donald and Melania Trump stated that Mar-a-Lago will now serve as their primary address.
While Trump took to Twitter to confirm the report and add that “I cherish New York, and the people of New York and always will,” as quoted by Haberman, he also griped about what he perceived as unfair treatment by public officials in New York.
“I have been treated very badly by the political leaders of both the city and state. Few have been treated worse,” Trump claimed. He added that his abandonment of New York as his legal home state was “best for all concerned.”

In his tweet President Trump said that he pays “millions of dollars in city, state and local taxes each year,” a claim which is true but nevertheless contradicted by a snarky Governor Cuomo in his own Thursday tweet.

Good riddance.

Even though he is not legally bound to do so, four years later the Democrats are still crying about President Trump never releasing his tax returns.
To this day Donald Trump continues to battle the Democrats in court to prevent both Congress and the Manhattan District Attorney from obtaining those documents.
Of course, these same Democrats had no problem that despite the many promises to do so, it took years for Bernie Sanders years to finally release the tax returns he promised to do "Next Week" back in 2016 when debating Hillary Clinton.
But at this point, I think it more about tweaking the Democrats than actually trying to hide anything deceitful, since many of the numbers that the Democrats claim Trump is supposedly trying to hide what he has made, or his net worth.
Many of these numbers are available in the financial disclosure that the President must legally file with the Government.
Of course, being a Democrat also means you're a hypocrite.
While Democrats in Congress cry about Trump's taxes, they continue to hide theirs for fear of the public knowing just how much their stuttering alcoholic Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, or 'Pimpin Ain't Easy' Maxine Waters have enriched themselves after three decades of being 'do nothing' House members.
Sorry Dims, Donald Trump Has Paid His Fair Share
If the Democrats believe Donald Trump or any of the Billionaire class haven't paid their fair share the Donkeys had ample opportunity to address the situation.
Over the decades the Democrats could have easily changed the tax codes, or removed all those despised tax deductions they claim to hate, or even made the release of tax returns mandatory for anyone running for office.
The perfect opportunity arose in 2009 when they controlled the Presidency, the House, and the Senate, but of course, the Democrats did what they do best, 'talk the talk but always do nothing'.
Despite the Democrats over-the-top bloviating and regurgitating of their idiotic talking point, we do know for a fact that Donald Trump, not only paid taxes... He paid more in one year than NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo has paid in his entire life.
This is due in large part to MSNBC's Rachael Maddow's over-hyped announced "We got them. We have Trump's tax returns" Idiocy.

Out of that MSNBC debauchery came the fact that while Madcow didn't have Trump tax returns, the loony left-wing lesbian did have one.
From that 2005 IRS filings, we know that President Donald Trump paid taxes, $38 million in taxes on income of more than $150 million to be exact.
 So while New York's corrupt Governor Andrew Cuomo may cry "He's never paid taxes' that is just another Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez 'feelings are just as factual as facts' lie.
But we do know three actual facts.
Donald Trump in one year paid mare taxes to the state of New York than Andrew Cuomo has paid in his lifetime.
Donald Trump will pay no state income tax in Florida because the Sunshine State does not collect income tax from its residents.
But the third and most important fact is while Democrat dimwits like Cuomo continue to spew their Trump idiocy, the bottom line is...
