Corona Update 7 July: In the last 24 hours, 43,733 new cases of corona have been reported in India and 930 people have died. The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare gave this information on Wednesday.

Wednesday is the 29th consecutive day that less than one lakh new coronavirus cases were reported in India. Active cases have now come down to below 5 lakh.
The country currently has 4,59,920 active cases and a total of 4,04,211 deaths so far.
According to the Union Health Ministry, a total of 47,240 people have been discharged from the hospital after recovery in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of people discharged so far to 2,97,99,534.
A total of 36,13,23,548 people have been vaccinated in the country so far, of which 36,05,998 people have been vaccinated in the last 24 hours, the ministry said.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research, 42,33,32,097 samples have been tested for COVID-19 till July 6. Of these, 19,07,216 samples were tested on Tuesday.
