Corona Update 6 July: 34,703 new cases of corona have been registered in India on Tuesday, which is the lowest figure since March 17. The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has given this information.

During this, the lowest 553 deaths have also been recorded since 6 April, which is a matter of great relief. So far more than four lakh lives have been lost due to corona in the country. The highest number of deaths was recorded at 4,454 during the second wave on May 23.
On March 17, 35,871 cases of corona were registered in India, while on April 6, 630 deaths were registered. India has crossed the 30 million cases mark on June 25, taking the total number of cases to 3,06,19,932.
India is the second country after the US, which has been most affected by the pandemic in terms of cases.
Tuesday is the 28th consecutive day when less than one lakh new cases of coronavirus have been reported in India. Now the number of active cases here has come down to 5 lakh. At present, the number of active cases is 4,64,357 and a total of 4,03,281 lives have been lost.
According to the Union Health Ministry, in the last 24 hours, a total of 51,864 people have been discharged from hospitals after recovery, including 2,97,52,294 people who have been discharged so far.
A total of 35,75,53,612 people have been vaccinated in the country so far, out of which 45,82,246 people have been vaccinated in the last 24 hours, the ministry said.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research, 42,14,24,881 samples have been tested for COVID-19 till July 5. Of these, 16,47,424 samples were tested on Monday.
