Today, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has given the ticket of District Panchayat President election to Arun Singh, who are close aide of life sentence serving former BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar.
BJP leader Arun Singh was also made an accused when car was planed to accident with intention of killing the family of rape victim.

Victim has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and President Ram Nath Kovind, saying that BJP is giving tickets to those who want to kill me.
Let us tell you that BJP leader Arun Singh is also the son-in-law of Minister of State Ranvendra Pratap Singh (Dhunni Singh). The BJP had earlier denied giving tickets to relatives of any office-bearer. But the surprising thing is that the BJP changed its policy only for Arun Singh, while he has been an accused in the Unnao rape case.

On this controversial matter, BJP spokesperson Hero Bajpai says that since Arun Singh is already elected for block head, so he has been given a ticket. On the question of rape case, Hero said that if the charges against Arun are proved, then the court will take action against him. On question of the minister of state being a relative, the BJP spokesperson was seen answering roundly.
