Ahmedabad (Gujarat City) has the highest number of coronavirus cases reported from Ahmedabad. So far, there have been 181 deaths due to corona infection. At the same time, 3774 corona positive cases have been found.
Ahmedabad, Surat, Bhavnagar, Baroda, Rajkot are the main hot-spot cities. These cities are completely sealed.
According to experts, Corona cases have increased in the state due to the "Namaste Trump" organized in Ahmedabad on 24 February.
Significantly, "Namaste Trump" was a rally held on February 24, 2020 in Ahmedabad to welcome US President Donald Trump on his first visit to India.
US President Donald Trump hosted Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad. In September 2018, "Namaste Trump" was held in response to the "Howdy Modi" event held in Houston, Texas.
