What India has done in case of Kulbhushan Jadhav is either stupidity or b.....ness. Commonsense tells me that the stay on Kulbhushan Jadhav's death sentence may ironically kill him. But for Sushma Swaraj, I would have harboured no doubt and called it b.....ness -- this lady is genuinly stupid. Anyways, I will tilt in favour of b.....ness, for people at such responsible positions are not supposed to be stupid.
First and foremost, I have not an iota of doubt that ICJ has acted with bias against Pakistan. I am a practicing advocate and understand court procedures. India went to ICJ with no case at all. Its application could have been thrown out on numerous grounds: Lack of Jurisdiction, Fraud, No Urgency, Non-Maintainable Prayer, etc. The fact ICJ has granted extraordinary relief to India so frivolously means some bigger political force was at play -- role of the US can't be ruled out, for RA&W is a proxy of CIA in South Asia. Anyways, this relief per se was completely unecessary. If Pakistan had to kill Kulbhushan Jadhav, it would have killed him long ago a la Sarabjit Singh. But, of course, Pakistan knows the Modi & Co. would create lots of ho halla to further their nationalism agenda, which will give it a chance to negotiate a deal in its favour. Moreover, Kulbhushan Jadhav, unlike Sarabjit Singh, is not a commoner, so his deemed value is much higher. So, in all probability, Pakistan was waiting for a sweet deal. India, instead of carrying out discreet negotiations, approached ICJ and even manipulated the court proceedings to get a favourable order. This arrogance would have certainly wounded many egos in Pakistan. And these wounded egos have now brought the life of Kulbhushan Jadhav to an imminent danger. I won't be surprised if Pakistan would kill him before the proceedings in ICJ would come to an end.
The fact is even India doesn't have any consideration for the life of Kulbhushan Jadhav. Most probably, Pakistan demanded a heavy cost for Kulbhushan Jadhav's release, which the nation of India found too expensive. In another post, I have valued the contribution of Kulbhushan Jadhav at Rs 500 crores at least. But I am sure, the nation of India doesn't value him so highly. They just wanted to prove a point by registering at least some kind of a diplomatic victory, which they have achieved through ICJ. Now, in fact, the nation of India would also be hoping for Kulbhushan Jadhav's death a la Sarabjit Singh. Ironically, such a death serves the purpose of both the nations. Pakistan by killing Kulbhushan Jadhav will show its people that they are smart enough to have manipulated ICJ and killed Kulbhushan Jadhav irrespective of the international pressure. And India would show its people that they tried their best, but Pakistan is such a scoundrel that it doesn't even respect courts, which will get them some more brownie points on nationalism agenda.
I can indeed squarely blame media for being callous. Of course, they would know all that I have written above. But, yet of course, they wouldn't publish it. I can publish it because I am an independent blogger with marginal reach. They influence millions. RA&W will kill them immediately with directed energy weapons if they even dare do something like this. But, yes, I did see some channels asking questions on how India will secure release of Kulbhushan Jadhav here on. Even that is satisfactory enough. Let us see what effect this article will bring upon me because people may or may not be reading my articles, but the slueths defintely are. However, I can take that much risk as an #AntiNationalHumanist.
I hope Kulbhushan Jadhav has been smart enough to double-cross India, and Pakistan would retain him to serve their purpose for a good part of his remaining life. Diplomacy Sucks!!!
