NYC Blackout Has Cuomo Lighting Up de Blasio As NYC Next Mayor Takes Control

NYC's blackout may have sent NYC in darkness, but boy did it ever shine a light on the feud between NYC's corrupt Mayor Bill de Blasio and corrupt NY Governor Andrew Cuomo.
At 7 pm when a ConEd transformer went boom sending a plume of sparks and smoke skyward, that only signaled the start of the real fireworks that was about to take place

When the upper west side was suddenly pitched in darkness NYC most corrupt mayor in history was in an auto workers’ union hall in Waterloo, Iowa — campaigning for president.
Mayor Doofus, I'm not kidding was campaigning in Waterloo, Iowa when the blackout occurred, tweeted “Restorations are underway with ConEd aiming to have ALL customers restored by midnight,” he tweeted.

De Blasio's tweet only proved what a pathetic Mayor the big bumbling buffoon has become.
In a city of 9 million... de Blasio had barely garnered 100 likes and 60 retweets.
If that didn't show you just how out of touch Mayor Moron has become, then this certainly will.
De Blasio sent more tweets out on Saturday before the blackout informing Illegal immigrants of their rights during ICE's upcoming deportation round-up than he did after the blackout informing New Yorkers sitting in darkness.

While we are on the subject, the illegal immigrants President Trump is targeting already had their rights fully protected.
A judge ruled that these people did not warrant asylum and ordered them deported. Period. End of story.
But while de Blasio was tweeting about the outage from afar, his often-nemesis, Gov. Cuomo, was rushing to the emergency command center on the Upper West Side, and of course, since Cuomo has never met a camera he didn't like, he planned to hold a press conference.
Don't get me wrong when Cuomo showed up at the command center, de Blasio deserved every inch of the knife that Cuomo stabbed him in the back with.
But when Cuomo went on CNN and started twisting it, it was like picking which STD you wanted to see catch:

“I’ve been governor of New York for eight years, In that time I can count the number of times I left the state on my fingers.”

Luckily, Cuomo didn't try to compare who had more corruption scandals, because that would have been a much tighter race.

In the Darkness One Light Shone Brightest
At the start of the blackout, one politician actually did his job so well that Twitter anointed him the de facto mayor.
There's little doubt that City Council President Corey Johnson did a great job interacting on social media and calling into various local stations trying to give New Yorker's as much information as possible.
Despite, him being politically on the opposite spectrum of myself, Johnson deserves credit for doing a great job.
He tweeted on a regular basis, retweeted other tweets showing the toughness, and togetherness of New York city residence, and he also called into local news stations giving them the 411 on what was happening behind the scenes.

Corey Johnson 2021 NYC Mayor?
As Speaker of the New York City Council and a City Council member for the 3rd District Corey Johnson is arguably the 2nd most powerful politician in New York City.
His district includes Hell’s Kitchen, Chelsea, the West Village, and parts of Flatiron, SoHo and the Upper West Side in Manhattan which a majority of the NYC 2019 blackout affected.
Keep in mind politicians like Corey Johnson always do a great job when they're looking to become the next NYC Mayor.
Only after the get elected, do they suddenly forget everything that got them hired in the first place.
The Intelligencer conducted an interview with Johnson on April 2018.
That article detailed the passion Johnson feels for the big apple, and how he feels politicians let New Yorker's down:

“Stop nickel-and-diming us!

There are 8.6 million people who live in New York City and not all of them, but a lot of them could move somewhere else.

They live here because they love New York City, they love the energy of the city.

But the rent is too damn high, property taxes are too damn high, the subways are in a state of disrepair.

Small businesses are being driven out in droves.”

Do you know who said the very same things? Yup, the same guy whose in Iowa, who greatest success as Mayor was becoming the most corrupt in NYC history.
I was born and raised on Long Island, and worked in midtown Manhattan for over two decades, as the old saying goes "Talk Is Cheap" and in New York City, that goes double.
