POLL: Trump’s African American Approval Rating Rises to New High

New polling done by the Rasmussen Reports indicate that President Trump’s approval rating has risen to 50% among American voters, with half of the country strongly approving of his handling of the US economy.
The economy and job market have seen massive surges since the election of Trump, and after nearly three years in the White House, his pro-business policies are being praised by business owners and companies.

Additionally, Trump’s approval rating among African Americans hit record highs at around 41%, a virtually unprecedented accomplishment for previous Republican presidents.

With midterm elections less than two weeks away, Republicans are campaigning on Trump’s economy in hope of resonating with U.S voters.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 50% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-nine percent (49%) disapprove.

The latest figures include 35% who Strongly Approve of the way Trump is performing and 43% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -8. (see trends).
