Bill O'Reilly Negotiating To Make His Cable News Comeback

Will the No Spin Zone Still Have What It Takes?
Newsmax TV is negotiating with Bill O’Reilly for his return to cable news in his familiar 8 p.m. time slot according to PageSix.com

Last year the top-rated cable news host made an abrupt exit from Fox News. The controversial anchor was forced out after the disclosure of sexual-harassment allegations and settlements paid to alleged victims.

Newsmax TV is trying to make a big splash and reportedly have also been chasing other former Fox News talent — Greta Van Susteren and Eric Bolling. Bolling already has a deal with CRTV for a digital show but if Newsmax wants him badly enough it's not far-fetched to think they could not buyout his contract from CRTV.
PageSix also reported: 

An insider told Page Six, “The deals are not done yet, but talks are in the advanced stages, certainly with O’Reilly. The thinking is, following a 6 p.m. news show, Greta would anchor the 7 p.m. hour, O’Reilly would be back at 8 p.m., and Bolling could smoothly continue on at 9 p.m. Spicer and his cohorts would go on at 10 p.m., with the later slot allowing the show to be looser. But the deals are not yet signed and sealed.”

O’Reilly, 68, has been reporting out of his Montauk home, appearing many times on Glenn Becks program. O'Reilly also has been airing his  “No Spin News" through his BillOrielly.com website.

Newsmax Media CEO Christopher Ruddy — a close friend of President Trump’s — has said his goal is to bill Newsmax TV as “a kinder, gentler” version of Fox News.

Only time will tell if O'Reilly will still have the presence that made him the longest running #1 cable news program or will he be another Keith Olbermann who crashed and burned when he landed at Al Gores Current TV?
