CNN Always Equates Nixon To Trump But Never Nixon to Obama, Why?

Several times each day you'll hear some CNN host or contributor equating President Nixon's paranoia to one of the many President Trump tweets.

Firing an FBI director who typically states "I serve at the pleasure of the President," to that of firing an independent special prosecutor such as Robert Mueller, are not, on any level, comparable.

When Trump fired James Comey, CNN dove into the deep end of the "Nixon Comparison" pool by melding fact with fiction to equate Trump's firing of Comey to that of Nixon's "Saturday night massacre." Of course, the two events had little to nothing in common with each other.

The "Saturday Night Massacre" refers to President Nixon's firing the independent special prosecutor Archibald Cox, which led to the resignations of Attorney General Elliot Richardson and Deputy Attorney General William Ruckelshaus during the Watergate scandal.

Instead of using the more appropriate and much more equatable President Bill Clinton firing his FBI director William Sessions. Being that it was the first and only time a President fired an FBI director, the parallels were more than apparent.

Since they went with Nixon, rather than Clinton one can only conclude CNN was pushing their own agenda and therefore their whole "Saturday Night Massacre" narrative was nothing more than CNN hyperbole.

Another TRUE Comparison
Each time we hear of another ethically challenged Obama administration, caught trying to influence America's 2016 Presidential election.  CNN, unlike how easily they equate Trump's actions to Nixon,  somehow always miss the opportunity to equate the possibly illegal actions of the Obama administration to the Nixon administration.

Does this seem familiar to you in any way? A major component that made up the Watergate scandal was Nixon and his close aides using the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as political weapons.

Now please tell me. With the information that has come forth up till now. Which administration does that sound like, Obama? or Trump?

Rather than speculating on the supposed state of Trump's mental fitness. CNN could actually be reporting on "REAL" news stories. Such as the one-time #3 man at the FBI, Bruce Ohr failing to disclose his wife's Nellie's involvement and participation from her employer FusionGPS when he handed the FBI the discredited "Trump Dossier."

Ohr's actions were clearly a violation of FBI rules and quite possibly could land him a one to a five-year prison sentence. But CNN, Brian Stelter's sell described "Real News" network, would rather speculate on what Donald Trump "REALLY" meant when he said, "I have no plans to fire Robert Mueller and look forward to the conclusion of his investigation."
