Department of Justice official Bruce Ohr could face jail time for failing to disclose his and his wife connection to Fusion GPS and the discredited Trump dossier.

Ohr the number three man inside the Department of Justice brought the Dossier to the FBI's attention.  But Ohr failed to disclose that Fusion GPS, which fabricated the opposition research on President Donald Trump was paid to create that research by the Democratic National Committee (DNC).

Ohr also did not disclose that his wife Nellie was on Fusion GPS's payroll and was part of the team that compiled the dossier. Since Ohr kept this information from his superiors, he did not receive a conflict of interest waiver. Ohr's willfully falsifying government ethics forms and traitorous actions can and hopefully will land him in jail.

Once Ohr's subterfuge was exposed, Ohr was quickly demoted and secreted away in some small cubical deep within the bowels of Quantico's FBI headquarters. The DOJ and the FBI have steadfastly refused to reveal the exact reason behind their actions, or what position Ohr now occupies.

The Irony Of It All
Once Ohr handed the discredited Dossier over to the FBI. They, in turn, used it to obtain a wiretap warrant against Trump adviser Carter Page. In a bit of irony. The FBI was accused in the recently released Nunes FISA memo of doing the same thing that has thrown Ohr in very hot water.

The memo created by Rep. Devin Nunes head of the House Intel Committee revealed that the FBI, as Ohr did previously, failed to disclose to the FISA court, Why and who created the dossier, and more importantly who paid for it.

If the FISA court was made aware that Hillary Clinton, funneling money to the DNC paid for the Dossier. It's highly unlikely, despite their 98% approval of warrant request, that the court would have granted the FBI's Surveillance request.

The FBI also failed to disclose to the court that a Yahoo story written by Michael Isikoff that the FBI was using to Corroborate the Dossier's Intel was in fact just more chicanery. Isikoff was exposed by Wikileaks founder Julian Assange as a mole working for the DNC at the time he was writing his Yahoo News article.

The information Isikoff wrote in his story supposedly gave merit to the Dossier's many salacious charges against Trump. But Isikoff's information was totally discredited when it was exposed that he obtained it from none other than Christopher Steele the person who authored the Dossier.

The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Editor-in-Chief Chris Bedford, speaking to Maria Bartiromo on FOX Business network believes Ohr could face criminal charges and prison time of anywhere between one to five years, for failing to disclose his conflict of interest.

Bedford also said it’s possible Ohr may face backlash sooner than expected due to the GOP’s control of Congress and the White House, and the public outcry for more transparency in government.

“A head like his could definitely roll,” Bedford concluded. “And I think he will face consequences right now. He’s got Republicans in the executive and the legislature and the public saying what’s going on here? There’s a lot of pressure. But if it will go higher than that? That remains to be seen.”
