Miscalculating Democrats Have No Leverage Left For DACA
Dreamers face an uncertain future and the blame falls squarely on the Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and Liberal Left-wing Democrats. They miscalculated badly on how much support the American people would provide them and the illegal immigrants that signed up for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer's should have pivoted once their strategy to put Illegal Immigrants ahead of Americans, blew up in their face, and they were forced to cave in and abandon their #SchumersShutdown scheme.
But even after Trump offered a deal that would allow a pathway to citizenship for some 1.8 million "dreamers" the two minority morons stubbornly refused to budge over concessions on stricter immigration requirements and a border wall,
Making matters worse for the Democrats is the fact that these illegals immigrants were openly belligerent toward America and the American people. Pulling stunts like trying to close Disneyland down by blocking people from entering, only served to alienate people from supporting DACA reform or amnesty.
Except for Pelosi, Schumer and the liberal loony toon left wing, who in their right mind thought a group of people breaking the law, and then acting like America owes them, would in any way turn out good?

No Leverage
There is little doubt that Trump will sign the new 2-year budget deal that the Congress passed early Friday morning.
Following the passage of the bipartisan budget bill, leading Democrats are finally admitting that they haven’t got the leverage to push Republicans on a bill to replace the illegal executive order that Obama signed that created the DACA program
Rep. Luis Gutierrez, D-Ill., said Friday the three issues the Democrats could have used to influence the Republicans - budget caps, the debt ceiling, and disaster aid - were all included in the deal passed by Congress early Friday morning.
Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi, D-Ill., added that "this was the last leverage point." "March 5 is coming up really fast,” he said. “I’m not hearing enough in the way of the president saying we’re going to delay this deadline. He’s leaving that very open, which to me means he wants to leave them exposed and in jeopardy."
When asked if Democrats could use next month’s vote on the omnibus spending bill, as leverage to get a new DACA deal done? Gutierrez said, “Really? Is it realistic? Can you continue to threaten with something?”
He added that members who voted “yes” on the increased spending in the deal passed Friday would then have to vote against actually providing the money for many of those same provisions next month.
75% of the Democrats who voted for 'Yes' for the budget, have little incentive to alter their vote. These Democrats represents districts that are suffering from the opioid epidemic, or recovering from natural disasters.
Their constituents would abandon them in a heartbeat if they once again tried to pull off the Pelosi, Schumer 'Immigrants over Americans' game plan.
