While it may seem like the name of a punk rock group, Beto O'Rourke was allegedly part of the "Cult of the Dead Cow," a notorious computer hacking group.

The Cult of the Dead Cow, also known as the 'cDc" or "cDc Communications," was founded in Lubbock, Texas in 1984, and can best be described as being a Wikileaks, Anonymous like News Blog, before any of these names became familiar to the general public.
