With a government shutdown looming, during a presser with Director of the Office of Management and Budget Mick Mulvaney, Jim Acosta embarrassed himself when he claimed it’s inaccurate for the GOP to refer to it as a “Schumer shutdown” since the GOP controls all three branches.

Acosta was, of course, presenting the Democrat and CNN's argument that relies heavily on the use of Liberal logic.

We assume after seeing Jim Acosta looking so foolish, Chris Cillizza felt he was being left out of the 'Club for Morons' because he jumped right in an defended his moronic media partner.

Of Course, Acosta, Chris Cillizza, and CNN Seemed To Have Forgotten That You Need 60 Votes To Pass CR?
The House has passed a short-term spending bill on Thursday night. Now, the Senate will need 60 votes to move the continuing resolution (CR) forward.

There are only 51 Republicans in the Senate — and not all of them are going to vote for the bill. Even if they did, they’d still need another nine Democrats to reach the magic number of 60.

So, this makes it any Government shutdown a “Schumer Shutdown” because he controls the Democrats and at best the GOP will need 9 Democrats to vote 'yes' in order to pass the CR.

We do hope Chris Cillizza and CNN can grasp these facts, instead of relying so heavily on Liberal logic.
