Patriots Star Rob Gronkowski Wants The Tide Pod Challenge Deaths To End
What started out as a joke on the Internet has gone too far.
The pods are bright and colorful and to children, they can look like candy. At least 10 deaths have been linked to The Tide Pod Challenge. The deaths have been attributed to kids ingesting these pods. Two were toddlers, eight were seniors with dementia.

Procter & Gamble, the maker of Tide products, told CBS News: “They should not be played with… Even if meant as a joke. Safety is no laughing matter.”
Gronk is not a fan.
After learning about the stupidity of The Tide Pod Challenge, New England Patriots superstar tight end Rob Gronkowski wanted to get involved with ending it.

Gronk partnered with Tide to warn kids of the dangers of taking the "Tide Pod Challenge."

“What the heck is going on people,” he said in a short public service announcement he shared on social media. “Use Tide pods for washing. Not eating.”
