And the Nominees are...
Following the first list of nominees published for the CDMA, here comes another. As  we get ready to set the records straight come July 2018 at the Kapital Building, UK, it wouldn't be fair to create an unnecessary loop. It is only fair to get you familiar with the nominees and prepare your minds for the finale. We will take you through a gradual process of introduction so that you get to know each and everyone of the talents nominated for CDMA 2018.



Mixer is a Cameroonian Soul, Pop and Afro beat singer/songwriter whose enchanting sound and heartfelt lyrics coupled with a persuasive vocal delivery creates an irresistible impact in the heart and minds of his fans and every listener. His music can take you to places, they say. Breaking into the scene in 2016 with energetic collaborations with intriguing acts such as Dj Godpower and PI on singles like “Hustle Money”, “Baby O” and “Miss Africa” amounting to huge reception on YouTube, and positive response from Afro, Urban and Pop audiences. His true to self and honest lyrics definitely will always create an incredible impression on the minds of this present generation.



Larryne Melh is a UK-based Finnish-Cameroonian female uprising Afropop/Dance/Soul singer and song writer. She sings in English, Pidgin and French. Larryne started singing and performing in school and church at the age of 10. She was featured in “Ne Tirez Pas Mr le President” in 2013. Larryne released the official video for her debut single "Just Kossa" on Vevo in 2015. Larryne melh won the "Best New Afrobeat Artist" in Finland in 2014. Following the release of her debut single, Melh has had many performances in Finland and Estonia. Larryne has other songs such as “Sugar Coated Love”, “Ei go better”, “Reloved” etc… which she has performed in different occasions. Melh represented Cameroon at the World Karaoke Championship in 2010 in Lahti-Finland and was the second runner-up for “The Queen Of Heart” international beauty pageant in Finland in 2011. Apart from her music career, Larryne Melh is a mechanical Engineer. According to Melh, “music is food for the soul". She uses music to reach-out to the crowd in a manner that leaves the audience captivated. Her passion for music is so infectious.



Denroy is a rapper, singer and songwriter. Cameroonian-born and UK-based with a degreee in Economics and a masters from a London business school, he sees himself as part of the new wave of entrepreneurial artists who hope to not just conquer the music industry and influence the culture but also build successful businesses off his art. He started writing music while in 2007 and released his first tape, “My Philosophy” in 2010. His follow-up tape “Opt For The Optimum” was released in 2012. Pascal, a friend and collaborator, had features on both projects. Academic pursuits punctuated his on and off breaks. He released and host of singles in the ensuing years with ‘Harambe’ (2016) being a fan favourite. He is currently working on EPs set to be released this year.
