Ian Thomas Talks Lunch at Allen's Shows in the 519 and the 45th Anniversary of Painted Ladies
What do you get when you put four incredible Canadian superstars on the same stage together? It could easily be a setup to a great Canadian music punchline, but in the case of Lunch At Allen’s it’s absolutely no joke.

Lunch at Allen’s is comprised of Murray McLauchlan, Cindy Church, Marc Jordan and Ian Thomas. As individuals, they have written for or sung on over 25,000,000 CDs, penning hits for Chicago, Josh Groban, Bonnie Raitt, America, Santana, Cher, and Rod Stewart, as well as Murray’s Farmers Song, Marc’s Marina Del Rey and Ian’s Painted Ladies just to name a few. These artists have come together adding the incredible voice of Cindy Church (Quartette, Great Western Orchestra) to form this one of a kind Canadian supergroup.

They are Canadian song writing royalty who will take you on a journey with humour and stories playing their familiar hits and new songs as well to create an evening of music for the heart and music for your soul.

Lunch at Allen’s is currently touring Ontario, with stops at three 519 locations – Dec. 4 at the Imperial Theatre in Sarnia, Dec. 5 at The Aeolian in London and Dec. 12 at the Sanderson Centre in Brantford.

519 Magazine had a chat with Ian Thomas this week to catch up on what Lunch At Allen’s has been up to, as well as look back at the 45th anniversary of Ian’s debut album and massive hit Painted Ladies.
