Australian Pink Floyd Gives Windsor Jaw Dropping, Awe Inspiring Event
Okay, Okay, Okay.  “Put another shrimp on the barbie!” and “another brick in the wall”.

I have to say that I am not a big fan of Tribute bands. From KISS to Elvis and AC/DC to Alice In Chains, most tribute bands, in my opinion, do a mediocre job - at best - at emulating their idols.

Honestly, I can’t really call The Australian Pink Floyd a tribute band at all, nor can I call it a show. It is one of the best experiences I have had the pleasure of attending.

If you missed it. I Implore you to NOT miss this the next time you have an opportunity!   A Friend of mine told me” if you close your eyes and listen and don’t think it's Pink Floyd themselves I will buy your ticket at the end.” And you know what? I couldn’t close my eyes for fear that I would miss any moment from beginning to end. The Flawless musical artistry, and the beyond comprehension visuals made this one a jaw dropping, awe inspiring, event that I am glad I had the privilege of attending.

This band covers it all, and it’s everything a fan could want. There were the hits, like Another Brick in the Wall Part 2, Comfortably Numb, Wish You Were Here and Time, but the meat and potatoes of this show lied in their choice albums cuts. Afterall, Pink Floyd was more about albums and deep cuts than it was about creating hit singles. Hearing Young Lust, Pigs, Fat Old Sun, One Of These Days and In The Flesh, you knew that the masterminds behind this show were also fans themselves. The only downfall is that the setlist appears to be the same set for each show on the tour, but that’s a minor nuance because most of us would only ever be at one show anyway. the benefit to that is that everyone gets to hear the full version with all the parts of the Shine On You Crazy Diamond from the masterful album Wish You Were Here.

The show runs like clockwork with perfectly timed video, lights and effects and the massive rigs they use to put on this monster is impressive.

If more bands put on tributes like The Australian Pink Floyd Show, I’d have a lot more faith in the tribute band industry.
