WATCH: First 'Venom' Teaser Trailer Shows the Demons that Lurk Inside Tom Hardy

Sony Pictures and Marvel have just released the first teaser trailer for "Venom" from director Ruben Fleischer. Starring Academy Award nominee Tom Hardy as the iconic villain, the film is rumored to be set outside our standard MCU, with the plot still being kept under wraps.
In the teaser, we don't get a look at Hardy in the iconic black suit but we seem to be in for a dark, bruting experience.
Tom Holland, who plays Spider-Man in the Marvel franchise has been rumored to make an appearance but nothing has been confirmed.
The film also stars Michelle Williams, Jenny Slate, and Riz Ahmed.
"Venom" opens in theaters on Oct. 8, 2018.
