Naveen Pirshali said that BJP, which made a change of leadership a year before the assembly elections, could not find a single capable person out of 57 MLAs who could have been made the Chief Minister.
In such a situation, the party made Tirath Singh Rawat as the Chief Minister, who has not yet shown the courage to contest the assembly elections.
AAP spokesperson said that today the people of Uttarakhand are saddened by the incompetent government of BJP. He clarified that AAP's goal is the Navnirman of Uttarakhand and the party's aim of contesting the Gangotri by-election is to rid Devbhoomi from the misrule of a rejected Chief Minister.
Naveen Pirshali said that in the tenure of the BJP government for more than four and a half years till now, one after the other with the people of Devbhoomi, they have made continuous deceptions and ruined Uttarakhand.
He said that, "The BJP government has done the work of throwing dust in the eyes of the people of the state in these four-and-a-half years. AAP spokesperson said that the BJP first imposed a 'zero work' Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat on the people of the state and Then to hide their negativity, just a year before the assembly elections, a person who has no vision for the development of the state was put on the chief minister's chair."
Naveen Pirshali said that, "In the 2017 assembly elections, the people of Uttarakhand had given a thumping majority to the BJP for a stable and strong government so that the government could work without any instability for a full five years and focus its full attention on the development of the state. Then Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself had promised a stable government in the state, but even after such a huge majority, within four years, the fight for power within the BJP came to the fore, for which the common people of this state had to pay the price."
AAP spokesperson said that the people of the state have made up their mind to bid farewell to the BJP and Uttarakhand Navnirman will start with the farewell of Tirath Singh Rawat in the Gangotri by-election and Colonel Ajay Kothiyal will emerge as the new sun.
