New Delhi: On occasion of "Doctors Day 2021", people across the country expressed their gratitude. At the same time, leaders of all political parties also congratulated him.

Congratulating all the doctors on the occasion of "Doctors Day 2021", former Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Thursday thanked them for saving lives.
Thanking the doctors, Gandhi said, "For every moment you spend saving someone's life - thank you, we are grateful to you."
The country celebrates 1st of July every year as National Doctors Day 2021.
This day is the birthday and death anniversary of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, the great doctor of the country and the second Chief Minister of West Bengal.

This day is celebrated in his memory.
Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had bowed to him in his monthly program 'Mann Ki Baat' broadcast on the radio.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday, on the occasion of 'National Doctors Day', said that the debt of doctors who serve people day and night during the global pandemic of covid-19 cannot be repaid forever.
Kejriwal tweeted, “Our doctors have served people day and night without sleeping for many days in the corona virus global pandemic, we cannot repay this debt of their life. Salute to all our doctors on 'National Doctors Day 2021', who saved millions of lives in this pandemic by saving their families from disintegration."
Significantly, in the year 2019, the corona pandemic spread from Wuhan city of China engulfed the whole world. Millions were infected and millions lost their lives. There is no doubt that the doctors who put their lives on the line even in such adverse situations saved the lives of crores of people. If these doctors, who are called the second form of God on earth, had not been there, then almost half of the world's population would have been wiped out by now.
