Haldwani: Manoj Singh Patel, appointed in-charge for Haldwani assembly constituency by All India Congress Committee (AICC), while addressing the workers at Congress office Swaraj Ashram, informed about the announcement of the selection of candidates for the Uttarakhand assembly elections.

He told that, this time the Congress candidates for the Uttarakhand assembly elections will be declared three-four months in advance.
The workers present on this occasion approved the name of Sumit Hadyesh as the candidate from Haldwani Assembly Constituency.
Patel also discussed 6 points in detail with Congress workers. Discussing about the pre-poll preparations, he said that a team of 50-50 workers would soon be prepared in each ward under Haldwani assembly constituency.
He also said that it is mandatory for Congress office-bearers to put up party flags in their respective residences and vehicles. He told the party workers that don't nab any leader, nab the Congress'.
