Kushinagar: Uttar Pradesh's Kushinagar District Magistrate S Rajalingam along with Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), and Superintendent of Police inspected Deoria Jail today.
Going to the jail premises, he inspected the food prepared for the prisoners and also learned about the facilities being provided to them. The inspector team went to the medical room, met the patients, interrogated them and took complete information in this regard from the jailer administration.

All the high officials met the prisoners, listened to their problems and took stock of the health facilities. Talking to the prisoners, the District Magistrate asked, is there any problem in the hospital here? Health facilities are available on time or not?
ADJ and the Chief Judicial Officer interrogated all the prisoners about the legal aspects of their case. Took information regarding bail and also told their solution.
He also accepted the applications of some prisoners and talked about sending the application through the jailer. In this sequence, the District Magistrate also inquired about the vaccination status of the prisoners.
All the high officials went to the women's barracks and also met the women prisoners. Took care of small children along with female prisoners. inquired about their health facilities. In this context whether children get nutrition or not, they were also asked and listened to the problems of women prisoners.
The matter of regular vaccination of children was also asked by the District Magistrate and the Superintendent of Police. Whether the food is getting right or not, whether proper medicines are available regarding the disease, whether corona has been vaccinated or not and their food was also inspected.
He also inquired about the arrangement of public prosecutor for such prisoners who do not have any relatives. ADJ, District Magistrate S Rajalingam, CJM Ravikant Yadav and Superintendent of Police Sachindra Patel were involved in this inspection.
