Gandhinagar: Within seven days of vaccination campaign launched by Rupani govt of Gujarat on June 21, there was a vaccine shortage. There has been 75 percent reduction in vaccination in Surat in last seven days. Not only this, due to the lack of vaccine, 50 percent of vaccination centres have also been reduced.

While Modi's stronghold Gujarat itself is facing a shortage of vaccines, the Union Health Minister is claiming to overtake the US in Covid vaccination.
On Monday, Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan has claimed that India has overtaken America in covid vaccination. Showing the figures, he said that so far 32,36,63,297 vaccine doses have been given in India.

Let us tell you that there are reports of shortage of vaccines in cities like Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot, Vadodara. People are coming to the vaccination centre but people have to go back without vaccination.
No matter how big the ministers of central government may claim, but reality is that in Gujarat like other states, people are suffering due to lack of vaccine.

While the Gujarat government does not have enough vaccine, government has made vaccine mandatory for traders and shopkeepers by June 30.
In just seven days of vaccination campaign, number of vaccination centres in major cities has been reduced. Whereas people are suffering more due to lack of vaccine. Next "Delta Plus variant" of Corona has raised the concerns of the central and state governments separately.
Despite announcement of the third wave by ICMR scientists and experts, Gujarat government is not showing sensitivity about vaccination. Therefore, it is believed that the lives of Gujarati's may once again be in danger in the coming days.
