Chancellor Anandiben Patel said that a large number of women heads have been elected in the recently held Panchayati elections. Most of them are running self-help groups and train such women by making university programs so that these women can become familiar with the schemes being run by the state and central government. Governor Anandiben Patel said that it would be appropriate that the university should prepare a group of girl students to give information on various contemporary topics and make them visit various Nari Niketan, Hospital, Old Age Home, Child Protection Home etc. so that they can experience there. and share their experiences with rural women in various programs being conducted by the University.
