UP ATS arrested six accused for illegal arms manufacturing in Pratapgarh
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh (UP) anti-terrorist squad (ATS) on Sunday arrested six individuals for working an unlawful arms manufacturing unit in Pratapgarh.
The accused individuals had been recognized as Shayal Alam aka Chhotu, Mohammed Sarfaraz Alam and Mohammed Azad (all from Munger in Bihar), Tirupati Nath Verma aka Guddu Gandhi of Gorakhpur, Swaline Ansari aka Bablu and Akhlin Ansari, each from Pratapgarh.

IG, ATS, GK Goswamy mentioned they had been tipped off a few gang concerned in manufacturing and sale of unlawful weapons.

“A crew laboured on the knowledge and located that the gang used to rent gunsmiths from Munger (Bihar) to fabricate weapons within the manufacturing unit. The gang used to promote weapons in varied elements of the state,” he mentioned.
