Congress workers said that petrol and diesel became expensive again by 28 paise today. Similarly, petrol became costlier by Rs 26.25 and diesel by Rs 24.46 per liter in the last 13 months.

In fact, according to the Congress, when the price of crude oil has fallen to $ 76 per barrel in the international market, then the price of petrol is reaching up to Rs 100 per liter.
In Delhi, on Rs 95 per liter of petrol, the Modi government is charging about Rs 33 as excise duty and the Kejriwal government Rs 22 as VAT.
At Rs 85 per liter, the central government is charging Rs 32 excise duty and the Kejriwal government is charging Rs 13 as VAT tax.
In view of this nationwide demonstration of Congress, Delhi security system was increased at petrol pumps.
Delhi policemen were deployed at petrol pumps in Delhi to keep the situation under control.
