Prayagraj: Rape case complaint lodged by a girl during operation at Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital (SRN Hospital). The principal of medical college has been informed. He constituted a five-member committee to investigate.
Kiran (fictitious name), a resident of Mirzapur district, was admitted to SRN Hospital on Saturday afternoon. He had to have a bowel operation.
After the blood transfusion, he was taken to the operation theatre at around 11 pm on Monday night. Operation went on for about three hours and then he was pulled out. After which the woman accused of rape.
In this case, a complaint was made to the Principal SP Singh, after which he formed a five-member inquiry committee and started investigation. But, the principal is already assuming that the allegations are baseless.
At present, he has formed a five-member committee on the complaint, which includes Dr. Vatsala Mishra, Dr. Ajay Saxena, Dr. Arvind Gupta, Dr. Amrita Chaurasia and Dr. Archana Kaul.
He told that the girl was admitted in a very serious condition. He underwent surgery on the night of 31 May. A total of eight people were present at the time of the operation. This included five women and three men. Family members were also present outside the operation theatre. There is a transparent glass there.
The girl's brother made a video of the entire incident and put it on social media, from where the video went viral.
