Sydney: Australian opener David Warner says it was horrifying and disturbing to see people in India struggling for oxygen during the IPL.

Warner said, “I think everyone in the house saw the situation in India regarding oxygen on TV. People were queuing for the last rites of their family members.
IPL was postponed on May 4 after Corona cases surfaced in the IPL franchises.
David Warner, "The situation in India was terrible and it was very disturbing to see as a human being."
He said, “I think it was the right decision to postpone the IPL. Getting into the bubble is challenging. We know everyone in India loves cricket."
David Warner was removed from the post of Sunrisers Hyderabad in the middle of the tournament and Kane Williamson was appointed as the captain in his place.
Warner said, “It was very challenging and we wanted to leave India as soon as possible. We were in Maldives where other people were also there for the same reason."
