Lockdown: Wine & cannabis shop soon open, Indian govt issued guidelines
Bhopal: Excise Commissioner has issued a circular to all the collectors of the state to open liquor (wine) and cannabis shops during lockdown in the state as per the guidelines issued by the Government of India.
In view of the national calamity of Corona, in districts where the Collector will be allowed to open Wine and Cannabis Shop, there will be 100% compliance of social and personal distancing and other preventive measures.
Collectors have been asked that while permitting the operation of these shops from May 4, a decision should be taken in the sequence of guide lines issued by the Government of India based on the values ​​of Green Orange and Red Zone.
In the instructions issued by the Excise Commissioner, it has been said that shops can be operated from 7 am to 7 pm only.
All types of government formalities will be completed from liquor shops and passes will be issued only to the licensees and their employees for operating the shops.
Collectors have also been instructed to issue permission to liquor stores.
