I came to Israel in September, not sure what kind of reception I would get. I'm German, so I prepared for some hostile reactions once I would reveal my nationality. But throughout my stay, Israelis and Palestinians alike reacted overall positive once I told them I was German. Nevertheless, the relationship between the states is still complicated.
