Israel: Former Prime Minister Ehud Barak Founds New Party

Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak on Wednesday announced the creation of a new party that will appear in the legislature on September 17 to "put an end to Netanyahu's power".
Ehud Barak, 77, had succeeded Benjamin Netanyahu in 1999 before retiring from politics in 2013.
"We are creating a new party to end Netanyahu's power," Barak told a press conference in Tel Aviv. The name of this training will be revealed in "two weeks" during its official launch, according to him.
