Austrian President Alexander Van : early elections are in early September

Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen said on Sunday that early elections will be held in early September, following the collapse of the right-wing extremist coalition formed in late 2017.
"This new start must take place quickly, as fast as the Federal Constitution allows, so I am pleading for elections (...) in September, if possible at the beginning of the month," he said.
Chancellor Sebastian Kurz had invited him the day before to call a new vote, after the resignation of Vice Chancellor Heinz-Christian Strache, leader of the far right, implicated by a video that shows him seeking help and financial policy of a Russian national in exchange for public contracts......
