US administration outlaws a device increasing the weapons fire rate.

The US administration on Tuesday banned the "bump stocks", these devices that modify a semi-automatic weapon in order to fire in a burst as with an automatic weapon and which was used in particular the shooter of Las Vegas, where 58 people have were killed in October 2017.

Weapon owners with such devices have 90 days to surrender or destroy them.

The proposal was put forward last March by the Justice Department on the eve of a day of mobilization for tougher control over firearms.
