Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation Munich, 24th of october 2018. - Israel celebrates its 70s birthday this year. On this happy occasion Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung and the Buber-Rosenzweig-Fund wanted to explore how Israeli-German relations look like today and where they should head to from now on? I had the honor to moderate a thrilling panel discussion with Shimon Stein, former ambassador of Israel in Germany, Christin Wunderlich (ConAct), Dalia Grinfeld (JSUD) and the artist Itay Ganot. The variety of perspectives on the subject proved how far a lot of Israelis and Germans grew towards one another.
