Magdalena Gräfe

After studying History, Philosophy, and Interdisciplinary European Studies, I graduated from the Deutsche Journalistenschule in Munich. I began my career covering local courts and small-town stories — yet my real passion lies in foreign and crisis reporting, in understanding how people endure when the world around them fractures.

Today, I search for traces of light in dark places. I have cheered for the German football team alongside female war correspondents in Kyiv, celebrated with drag queens in Tbilisi, and shared my tent with two stray dogs in a Palestinian Bedouin camp.
