The new variant of the Nord series launched today is Oneplus Nord CE 5G. It is going to be a budget smartphone and let's dwell into if it is meant for gaming.
The new Oneplus phone launched today with some great specifications and new features. Although, there were a lot of leaks earlier, and most of them proved to be true. The Chinese company has launched a mid-range device with up to 12GB of RAM and comes with a triple-lens camera setup. Since BGMI is coming soon, is it a good device that gamers can play?

Full Specifications And Price of OnePlus Nord CE 5G

Earlier, a leak revealed that the variant of 6GB Ram and 128GB memory will cost around Rs.22,999. Moreover, the leak was from HDFC bank, where the list of EMI was revealed. Furthermore, the higher variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage will cost a price of ₹24,999.
And, the third variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage is priced at ₹27,999. It is also rumored that the company might not sell the 6GB variant priced at ₹24,999. Nord CE 5G pre-orders will start on 11 June from 12 PM to 11:59 PM.
The phone comes with Oxygen OS11 based on Android 11 out of the box. Additionally, the phone will also feature a 4500mAh battery unit with the support of Warp chart 30T plus. It means that it can charge 30% battery in 30 minutes.
How Good Is OnePlus Nord CE For Gaming?
Looking at all these specifications, it seems like this is a decent mid-range phone. Furthermore, it might not be one of the best options if your main purpose of buying the new phone is gaming. Although, one can enjoy smooth gameplay as the screen is of 90Hz and a game like PUBG and Call of Duty will run on smooth and extreme graphics.
The battery is not strong enough to spend 4-5 hours of regular gaming and you might need to charge it. Moreover, the good part is in the new Nord CE there is a 3.5mm jack which means you can play with wireless earphones while charging.
As a result, it is a decent phone but if your sole purpose is gaming then the gamers have better options than this. Poco X3 Pro is still one of the best mobiles in this price range with a better processor and high battery performance.
