Season 2 of Demon Slayer has ended with seven episodes covering the Mugen Train and eleven episodes adapting the Entertainment District arc, a look at the explained ending
The anticipation didn't really start off until Episode 8, when Tanjiro Kamado and his companions went into Yoshiwara, to pursue a demon, because the first half of the season recycled material from the Demon Slayer: Mugen Train film. Or, as we later found out, a pair of devils. The ensuing battle featured beautifully choreographed fight scenes, great animation that outshoned the movie, and dramatic turning points. So, in the conclusion, "No Matter How Many Lives," let's take a look at how Demon Slayer closes up a great second season while also setting up future plots.

Thankfully, Gyutaro and Daki are not among them. This season, the demon siblings surprised everyone by revealing that the demon slayers were after Daki and her much-stronger older brother, Gyutaro, rather than Daki alone. In fact, decapitating both siblings at the same time was the only way to defeat them.
Although it appears simple, it has proven to be a difficult task for many demon slayers. Fortunately, our heroes prevailed and defeated the Demon King Muzan Kibutsuji's main enemy, Demon King Muzan Kibutsuji's sixth-strongest followers.
Following Rengoku's dramatic death in Demon Slayer: Mugen Train, we've learnt that the good men in this series aren't promised a lengthy life. Tanjiro is protected because he is the protagonist of the storey. Nezuko is, too, because she's not only Tanjiro's younger sister, but she's also the reason he became a demon slayer in the first place. Zenitsu and Inosuke, together with Tanjiro, are the cornerstone trio of the ensemble cast, according to popular shonen series clichés.

How Do Demon Slayers Neutralize Gyutaro’s Poison?

Gyutaro wounded Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Tengen, and as a response, he poisoned them all. This would normally be a death sentence. Gyutaro's poison is extremely lethal. Gyutaro's poison, on the other hand, never had a chance against Nezuko's Blood Demon Art.
Blood Demon Art is Nezuko's way of creating demonic fire from her blood. We first saw Nezuko utilise it in Season 1 during her duel with Rui. She used it to free Tanjiro from Enmu's dream spell in Demon Slayer: Mugen Train. She utilised it again in the finale, first to neutralise Gyutaro's post-death attack, then to burn away the poison residues in everyone's bodies. We also saw her use it against Daki earlier this season, severely hurting the Upper Rank demon.
While her Blood Demon Art is harmless to humans, it has proven to be successful against every demon encountered thus far, which speaks much about Nezuko's monstrous demon potential.

Why Did Tanjiro Take Sample From Puddle of Blood?

This storey point hasn't shown in the anime in a bit, so here's a refresher. Tanjiro first met Tamayo, a rogue demon who seeks to defeat Muzan, in Season 1. She decided to help Tanjiro discover a means to restore Nezuko's humanity because she is a good doctor. Tanjiro is required to take blood samples from the Twelve Demon Moons as part of the contract. Daki and Gyutaro are ideal prospects because they are both Upper Rank Six.

What Happens To Daki And Gyutaro?

In Demon Slayer, there are two constants. Tanjiro's strength will come from his family, and demons have painful pasts. Daki and Gyutaro are the same way. They were born in Yoshiwara's poorest neighbourhood. They were orphaned when they were little. Daki became a child sex worker after Gyutaro was mocked for his appearance. Daki was then set ablaze by a client, and Gyutaro was sentenced to death.
While we learn that Gyutaro would choose to become a demon in every existence, Daki isn't constructed the same way. Due to Gyutaro's influence, she has become a demon. When Gyutaro and Daki rejoin in limbo, this significant difference is reinforced. Gyutaro appears to be a demon, whereas Daki appears to be in her actual human form.

Tanjiro’s Scar

One of Demon Slayer's big mysteries is this. It'll be a bit before the anime reveals everything, so let's take a look at what we know thus far. Tanjiro was born without a mark on his forehead, despite the fact that Sun Breathing practitioners are meant to have them. When he protected one of his younger brothers from being burned by a boiling kettle, he received his scar. However, after Tanjiro passes the final exam to become a Demon Slayer, the scar changes shape. Then there was the last battle versus Gyutaro.

What Does This Victory Mean For Demon Slayer Corps?

It takes a lot of effort to defeat an Upper Rank Demon Moon. Indeed, Kagaya Ubuyashiki, the Demon Slayer Corps' leader, sees this win as a sign that they will finally vanquish Muzan this generation. It's certainly cause for celebration, but the demon slayers aren't in the best of health. After Rengoku's death, they're already down one Hashira, and now Tengen is stepping down. Fans with keen eyes will also observe that Kagaya's condition is deteriorating. More than half of his face is now covered in the curse mark. In fact, their window of opportunity to defeat Muzen is rapidly shrinking.

Who Is Douma?

We meet a demon who was the Upper Rank Six at the time during Gyutaro's flashback. He turned Gyutaro and Daki into demons by giving them his blood. During Season 2, the twins held the position of Upper Rank Six, indicating that the demon, Douma, either perished or advanced in rank. We can guess which scenario is most likely based on a memorable character design with rainbow eyes. In addition, he is shown with a woman's severed head with the remainder of her body thrown over his back in his introduction. Someone like that isn't easily killed.
